There are a few SCMI goodies on the market right now. I think the 16" J/P on the west coast is the best of the bunch in terms of value. Their 5 in 1 combos pop up for sale are good prices like the one you link to. If im forced to downgrade to a shoebox, i would seriously consider one.

The 8'-5" slider with mortiser is usually somewhere north of $14,000 new.

I bought one as a Demo about that time for $7k.
Mine shows a lot more wear than this one.
