When I saw that they were starting to sell this, I was really disappointed, as I gave up and purchased their boring machine that you can set to do slot mortises. It is limited to square cuts, as there is no way to set an angle, but works good if you want to put a mortise in say a decorative panel to strengthen it, or to add a mortise and tenon to a butt joint.
