What No New Tool For the Day?

Seeing a new tool like the Dodecagauge is always fun.

Was there a new tool from our friends in Canada today?

To be honest, I'm not sure. This seems to be their latest: Veritas Caliper Marking Gauge and I don't remember seeing it before.

PS- here is The Full Collection

I may not remember it, but that was last year's gag. (Maybe they're off for Easter and we should check again tomorrow?)

    Hi Jim,

No - nothing this year, we're taking a pause... too many projects on the go.

The good news is, the couple of hundred hours that would normally go into an April Fool's tool has been put into real tools!

For those that are interested, searching for "AFD" on our website will bring up all of the previous April 1st tools.

    Cheers -

    Rob

The joke this year is that there is no joke but they made you look!

Well it gave me about a half hour of levity looking and seeing the ones from previous years.

My April Fool's is ruined. I'm going to go put my head in my pillow and cry. (Not really, but I looked forward to it every year.)

So Rob, still haven’t received my pocket dovetailer. If my joints are sloppy it’s your fault!

    2019 promises a LV fool's tool with unprecedented R&D.

You may not have caught this video a couple years ago. He had me laughing the whole 3 minutes with this tool-less woodworking nod to Bob Ross. YouTube Link
