Want to dilute some brush on poly to use as WOP. Is there a "usual" dilution ration? Thanks.

Just pour some danish oil, teak oil or many others they all will dilute poly. I go 55/50 and add a little japan drier that speeds up drying. Japan drier does contain heavy metals so think about where the mixture will be used.

The MSDS for Minwax wipe on polyurethane says it contains 70% aliphatic hydrocarbons (solvent). The MSDS for Minwax "Fast Drying Polyurethane" (brush on type) says it contains 50% aliphatic hydrocarbons. If you added 1 part solvent for every 1.5 parts brush on polyurethane, it would be diluted to 70% solvent.
I'd say start with 1 part solvent to 2 parts poly and see how it works, add more solvent if desired.
