    Whoops!!!!!!!!!!

    Turning another piece of beech today. This one didn't spalt at all so decided to make a thin natural edge, maybe even a wobbler. Everything going okay and then turned the straight tool rest inside the bowl like a thousand times before. Looked in the right position, gave it a spin by hand and whoops..............guess I was a little heavy handed!

    Well at least you look to have the same thickness down the side of the bowl. For me seems to happen more with natural edge knocking off some of the bark
