finished new outfeed / assembly table this weekend.

finished new outfeed / assembly table this weekend.
    Dimensions are 46" long x 26" deep and 36 3/8" tall on 3 1/2" casters
I chose this size as I've had this 1" thick piece of butcher block laying around 4 years. I added Rocklers t-track system and there is one shelf in it that is high enough for the dust collection from the table saw. I also added my Wilton wood vise on one corner.

Great use for your material. That looks like a nice combination table; out feed, assembly, storage and work holding.

I like those Rockler accessories but they sure are pricey. I considered them but because of the cost have not made the plunge.

Looks great. I think your work flow just got easier.

    Nice job.

PS: May I suggest putting a Kreg hold down plate near the corner of the T-tracks. Then you could use a Kreg bench clamp when you need pressure if you do much pocket hole work.

Good looking table. Really wish I would have built mine with the ability to have a vise. Due to the frame and top I cant figure out how to get a vise on there. Oh well, I knew I would have issues with it but I needed something and it's doing a good job.

Looks great. I am soon to build something similar (maybe a bit bigger).

Out of interest, is there any reason(s) you chose Rockler tracks as opposed to Kreg t-tracks?

Remember : The bigger it is, the less portable it becomes. It seems to me, if you want to, for instance, combine a layout table, or heavy work bench with drawers and such, and outfeed table, you might want to just make it permanent. It would give it more rigidity. There comes a point where you have to choose between portability and serviceability.

Very nice work and the clamping solution should be very useful.

Looks great, but where are the slots for miter gauge or crosscut sled extension?
