Finding age on Black & Decker Drill

Found the old Black & Decker Professional Drill 1175 Model. Serial Code on it is 80610. Any idea when that was made?

Clarence, you might want to contract Dewalt on social media if you participate on social media or via their "Contact Us" form on their web site. They have always been pretty good about history...their offices in MD even had an exquisite tool museum. It's likely that they have the historical facts about B&D tools given they acquired that brand years ago.
