    Festool guide track connector on Dewalt track?

    Will the festool giude rail connector work on the dewalt tracks?

    I dont believe it will. you would need two of the DeWalts anyway. I do know the Makita will work on the Festool track and is preferred by many over the Festool version.

    That is what I want to do attach two dewalt tracks no one has the connector for dewalt tracks including Dewalt i assume they have stoped making them.
    I want to buy the dewalt saw with a 59" and a 2nd 59" track instead of the 105" track i do not have room for the longer track.

    Tools Plus show them in stock and you can get them on eBay all day long.

    I have a Grizzly and wanted to splice two tracks. The kit only comes with one connector and it had a lot of flex to it anyway. I made my own connectors out of hard maple milled to fit the slots tight and drilled and tapped them for 1/4"-20 set screws with two on each side of the splice for each connector (8 total). It's pretty stiff.

    I've bought several things from Tools Plus over the years. They often seem to have the best price on power tools and sometimes have it even cheaper at their Ebay store.

    Cut 4 feet then another 4 feet. It's a straight line.
