    Cherry Burl

Some interesting challenges with inclusions and some punky wood but by far getting all the beetle frass out of the trails was the most difficult. Some of it was easy but a lot was concrete hard. Anyway, 8" X 2.5" bowl finished with walnut oil and Mahoney's wax finish.

Very nice bowl, like the mid-line figure. Looks rustic and old with lots of character.

Thanks Glen. Pretty much what my first comments to the wife were about the piece. This piece looks like it's an antique or distressed right off the bat new! It almost looks like it was one of the only pieces salvaged after the house burned down.

Another winner David. I also like the antique look.
