Attention: If you're having login problems!

Hello All,

If you've had trouble logging into Sawmill Creek since the upgrade,
please try the following:

1. Make sure your username and password are correct, enter them in the
login box on the right side of the Home screen. If there is a problem, you
will be brought to another login page-- use the same username and password
again. If it doesn't work on the second try, move to step 2.

2. Delete your cookies. To accomplish this in Internet Explorer, go to
Tools > Internet Options and click Delete Cookies. Then
try your login again.

3. If you're still having trouble, send an email to aaron@sawmillcreek.org
with your Username and Password in the message body, and I will send
you an email accordingly.

Regards,

_Aaron_

One caution on this...if you delete "all" your cookies, you may have issues logging on to other sites, etc. My preference is to delete a specific cookie first when troubleshooting this kind of problem. I have a lot of sites I regularly visit that use cookies to maintain login information and having to (remember and) re-enter user names and password generally results in a lot of work.

If you're browser is so equipped, in order to singly delete cookies in
Internet Explorer:

Tools > Internet Options > General then click on the button
Settings..., then click on the button View Files...
A windowed list will open with (most likely) a lot of entries.
Search for an entry entitled Cookie:[some text]@sawmillcreek.org...
Highlight it by clicking on it, then press the Delete key.

If the list is very long, it may help you find the cookie by clicking on
one of the the column headers to sort the list.
