UK novice woodworker needing advice on T-track please

Hi everybody this is my 1st post on Sawmill Creek, I am learning woodworking in my spare time and this forum seems amazing for advice and ideas for a new starter such as myself. I am based in Oxfordshire in the UK but used to live in Denver Colorado for some time and this is when I very 1st started getting interested in wood working after working with wood floor installers.

So as I have already said I am based in the UK and wanted some help in understanding which T-Track to use, I want to try and avoid having numerous different size T-Tracks and fittings on future jigs and work tops. Is there a common size here in the UK that most woodworkers use?

I suppose I am aiming this question at forum members based in the UK as I know from working in the USA that the 2 countries do not share common materials when it comes to this type of thing.

Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated

    Welcome to SMC, Neil!

I'm not sure what the conventions are in the UK for tee-track, but the nice folks at Axminster can probably help you with that. They seem to sell product from a company named UJK.

I live in the Uk and you may find the link below useful

(Please note a frequent consideration you may need to make when purchasing products is some are imperial and others metric, this is particularly applicable to dust extraction and thread sizes )
