    Couple Smaller Pieces

Have been working with larger blanks lately so decided to switch it up and picked up a couple smaller pieces off the rack yesterday. It was a pleasure not having to muscle around the bigger stuff.

First was a spalted beech piece turned into a 5 1/2" x 2" x 1/4" bowl. Would have been about 1" more diameter except for some cracks that needed to be turned away. Have a couple more pieces like this one was a nice change up from the plain cherry I've been processing lately.

Second was a sort of wet (18% mc) cherry piece that I turned thin to 3/32". 7 1/2" x 2 1/2" that might get some piercing later on. It's warped about 1/8".

David, you have been a busy boy!
Nice looking bowls, especially like the spalted Beech one.
