    Brown & Round

Finished up this cherry this week. 10 3/4" X 4 1/2" X 5/16". Nothing special, just a mostly clear piece of cherry timber for a nice round and brown bowl.

Looks like a very nice utilitarian bowl David. The lines you burned? into the top add too it.
Great finish as always. Looks like a keeper to me!!

David this is a lovely Cherry bowl. I prefer not to turn cherry but after seeing this I just may have to change my mind.

I think this equates nicely to wood turning as well . . . . .

    Thanks Allan & Daryl.

Peter, cherry is one of my favorites mostly because it's plentiful in my area and the aroma is pleasant. Clear cherry is okay but gum stained cherry and cherry burls look awesome at least to me.
