Leadshine Easy Servo- closed loop stepper

I've searched a fair bit, and don't see any comments for or against the Leadshine 'Easy Servo', but I'm keen to hear opinions from anyone who might have used them. I'm keen to be able to speed up engraving time on the new laser when it arrives, and am wondering about ordering those Leadshines (for $350 surcharge) over ordinary Leadshine steppers, with it.

I'd appreciate thoughts or opinions, thanks!

I don't see a benefit. They are just steppers with encoders on them. The encoders are only useful if the steppers are prone to losing steps, and if they are prone to losing steps then something else is wrong. The only time my machine has lost steps is when I pushed the engraving speed to over 800 mm/sec, which was too fast for a DC tube anyhow.
