Metal trim on top of trash pullout

Saw some cabinets in a friends house where the tops of the trash pullout fronts had a metal trim piece screwed to the top to protect it. Does anyone know a source to get this from? I have attached a picture i found off google of what I am talking about.

The trim looks like just a flat piece screwed to the top of the door, or maybe an L-shaped piece that wraps around the back of the door too. At most any hardware store, you can buy aluminum in an L-shaped cross section in two or three foot lengths. Cut it to length, drill holes through it, and screw it to the back of the door.
