I didn't watch the video but from the description it seems like his disappointment was with some tool quality.
Does he have another video after he got some experience with the Kelton? I sold my McNaughton before I ever used it (I decided I wasn't that interested in bowl turning) but I read it was difficult to use without significant experience.
