    Got my flu shot

    I wanted to thank everyone for their input on my flu shot question but the thread was locked.
    So any way , thanks for all your input, I got my flu shot today

    Don't go crazy however. I understand that it takes two weeks to build up the full antibodies from the shot. So you are still at risk for a short while.

    I was curious about the comments that folks got sick from the flu. I found this in a quick google search with this search phrase "getting sick from the flu shot"
