I love it when a new machine comes in. You'll have it installed, powered on, and running your first cuts in no time. And we're going to want to hear all about it next week at camp. Not quite as fun as staring at your newborn in the crib, but it makes the list.

David, I have to see what the deal is with the carrier relative to delivery. They have not yet contacted me. I will be using a roll back to transfer from the tractor-trailer and am working on identifying a "safe" place to do so near my home. I can't do that on the road out front due to heavy traffic, a very sharp and blind curve just north of property and no usable shoulder. No way to get a tractor trailer into our driveway, either. I'm even toying with renting a box truck or flatbed and doing a three+ hour round trip to the terminal to pick it up and then do the transfer to the rollback in my driveway. It's a bit frustrating to know it's 70 miles away and just sitting there.... LOL 'Kinda like a mother being "very pregnant" and nothing happening to move things along.

You may want to rethink your "expecting" or "pregnant" analogy as it infers a "certain action" that started the process. I am sure that you will find that was not the case!!!

Think ya need to work logistics out with drive of flat bed truck. Compared to their normal halls yours will be easy job.

One consideration and I did it when I had a large piece of machinery coming in, towing service flat bed truck with tilt bed. See what it could cost for them to pick it up and then unload at your site.
