Beautiful table, but I have to ask, because I know what happen next in my house. So has your wife already asked you about rug shopping?

Very nice, Jared!! I have only worked with Sapele one time but I really liked the way it machines and takes a finish. Beautiful table and design.

Ha, sort of. The rug was already deemed unacceptable before the table was made. Though I've managed to avoid shopping for a new one so far.

Your future holds more than a new rug. After this success story your wife will set new furniture horizons for you. You have officially lost control of "your" woodworking projects.
Great job, beautiful work, gorgeous table - love the wood & finish!

LOL I lost control years ago.

I have about 10 years of solid work still to go.

Beautiful table! Great job. And that's a big room that it has to fill...
