I have a friend who loves in Millington Tennessee, and he says he is having trouble sourcing good lumber for small projects. Any ideas on a good source where you don't have to buy in bulk?

I looked on Woodfinder (woodfinder dot com, but I can't load the link for some reason), but it shows the nearest place as a Woodcraft 172 miles away. He might see if there's a lumberyard in town/in the area that serves contractors - they might have a limited supply of common hardwoods. Otherwise, there are companies that advertise in the magazines and can ship wood. I assume he's looked in the yellow pages for "sawmills."
Thanks, Bill. I didn't know about Woodfinder. Not sure if he's looked up sawmills, but I'll ask.
Makes me realize how fortunate I am to have a terrific hardwood supplier within an hour drive.
There is a woodworking store near the Wolfchase Mall in Arlington. It is on Wolf Lake Drive off New Brunswick Road. They sell all kinds of wood in the back room. It's not terribly far from Millington.
