    Laser cutting 15 degree herringbone gears

    Here is a video of my set up to make herringbone gear halves. The video explains most of the details of the process. I hope to write a detailed explanation of the process.

    Great video Dan! While I have no need for such a project, it was very interesting to see how you did it.
    I read recipes the same way I read science fiction. I get to the end and I think, "Well, that’s not going to happen."

    Take a look at gearotic motion gearotic.com . It can do just about any kind of gear you can imagine and a lot more like escapements, flourishes, spokes.
