This pot was my last piece of 2017. It is 8" tall X ~10" dia. Finished with Rustoleum rattle can lacquer. A nice piece of mesquite that had been forgotten in my stash of misc wood. Comments and critiques welcome.

Beautiful display of the sapwood. Well finished and from a rattle can no lees. Always pleasing to see your work. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful wood and form! I love it. That's a nice size too. I like them in that range. Not too big not to small. I need to get me some mesquite. The closest thing we have in SD is mesquito....

Very nice piece, wood and shape and finish. It is the season for sharing and giving you know.
Very nice, you pulled off that kind of form very well. Did you rough turn this piece and return to the the lathe, or was it dry wood, is there pith in the piece at all? Just wondering, trying to learn as much as i can, thanks.
