    dados and band edging

I plan to edge some mahogany plywood using a 60 degree edge banding router bit set like this:

Then I'll be building a shelf carcass from this material with dado reliefs for the center members (2 vertical, 2 horizontal, tick-tac-toe style) My question is should I install edging and then dado or dado before installing band edges?

You could do a blind dado and not have to worry about notching the banding manually.

I would edge band after in either scenario

Machine the edge profile and edge strip, machine the dadoes and then glue the edge strip on your panels. Finish sand the panels and then assemble. Touch up the sanding and you are done. Doing it this way creates blind dadoes with no special set ups. Cheers
Every construction obeys the laws of physics. Whether we like or understand the result is of no interest to the universe.

Thanks guys. That makes perfect sense. Just not sure about where the edge profiles intersect at Tee junctions. I guess the edge banding covers it anyway.
