    Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all! Being the exciting party goer type, I spent the evening watching the party on and around Sydney Harbour on TV which included classic Australian rock music and enough fireworks to just about melt the Bridge. Cheers!

Happy New Year to you, Wayne! 'Saw a brief video of the Sydney celebration this morning on the news...as always, it's spectacular.

Happy new year to all. Quiet evening planned and we will be asleep when the ball drops in NYC.

    Happy New Year to all.

We won't see any fireworks here, but the moon will be a full 'super moon' as it is at its closest distance to earth for the year.

As a double bonus, there will be a second full moon in January, a blue moon, which will feature an eclipse visible in northern parts of America and Asia.

Many celebrations here are being curtailed due to the cold this year...............We must be turning into wimps!
