Thread: EZ CAD dxf files are jerky when engraving - fiber marking laser

    Ive used my wife's cheap $199 Walmart special laptop from about 5yrs ago when I've used my fiber remotely. Now no great big files, but I've seen zero issues with using this laptop.vs my desktop laptop runs 32 bit win 7 just barely.. Takes 3 or 4 minutes to boot. Next time I set up with it I'll try a really large dxf and see what happens.

    Keep in mind that I have the cyclops camera option which obviously uses some video processing power. The only time I had an issue was with the large and complex .dxf files. They would lag it out to the point of crashing EZ Cad. Now, I can drag files all over the place or use the arrow keys to move them, all done very smoothly with no issues. Just something to consider if you are having similar issues.
