Thread: Trotec Speedy 360 in machine compressor replacement

    Have you tried adjusting the built in compressor? I would attempt that before buying an external unit.

    I'm only cutting 1/8" hardwoods and plywood but the built in compressor has worked well.

    Thanks Mike. I actually wait for the machine to arrive soon. According to the preinstallation requirements, "an external compressed air supply is required" for the gas kit. The gas/air requirements:
    free of mechanical particles or liquid substances (dust, oil, water)
    flow rate 150l/min = 40gpm
    max pressure 145 psi

    That is why I am asking for recommendation. I will definitely adjust the internal one. Right now I am thinking of buying California Air Tools 30 Gal. Portable 2.0 HP Ultra-Quiet and Oil-Free Air Compressor with Automatic Drain Valve from Home depot. But that is not cheap!
