I thank all Vets. My Dad was in the Navy in WWII as a Seabee and I was in 'Nam. Dad saw fighting, I was support, saw that the troops got paid correctly and on time.

I went to the cenotaph on Saturday, larger crowds than I've ever seen, however it was the centenary of Passchendaele, which is significant for Canadians.

I should have arrived much earlier, next year will be the centenary of Armistice day, and the end of WWI, I may go to Ottawa to the National War Memorial for that service and arrive maybe around 07:00.

At least this year I didn't lose my poppy................Regards, Rod.
