The extension wings are 60 pounds each. The top is probably around 200 pounds by itself. The blade insert is 6.8 pounds. Two good sized guys were able to get the top off safely. I had to make a ramp of 2x4's and screw blocks onto it to slowly slide the top back up. I moved the switch box out 4 inches by mounting a 4x6 under it so I could turn it off with my leg.
The riving knife retrofit looks interesting

The link is now dead. How long is the fence arm, does it reach the back of the table?

I would be very interested in that riving setup myself.

It seems Sean's last post was in 2010 ?

Anyone know anything past that ? Contact info ?

I just spoke w Sean over phone, very nice guy.

Sean is all good and well, only reason he has not posted is life and work prioritys.

His day job is all involved w industrial robotics in different facets, w a Tool/ Diemaker background.

He did complete a Gen 2 version and it is in use on a 12-14 successfully for years now.

He does not have interest in taking this any further for himself... His plate is full, but would be willing to produce working drawings of the Gen 2 unit if asked... he estimates off the cuff 30 hours to produce that.

Also, I understand it CAN be scaled to work on 10" saw.

If someone out there would have interest in carrying the ball further, possibly even as a business opportunity, contact me.

I, myself, years ago may have, but not looking for an opportunity at this age.
