Does anyone have good or bad report with Hitachi Model CB75F band saw with 3" wide blade? I want to resaw some white oak about 10 " wide. Is the 1 hp. motor on this saw able to handle this cut?

You could resaw the board provide your throat is big enough. I would use a 1/2" blade, but it will be a slow process, in fact I think you have a miss print in your post, cause I would doubt a 1hp saw could tension a 3" blade.

the stock motor is crap i change mine to a 5 hp 3 phase

Norm used one on The New Yankee Workshop. The motor sounded like the weak part.
