    D-7

Did Disston make a laminated handle for the D-7? I'm trying to determine if this is original, or not.

That is a very plain handle. I suspect it is original. I put a new handle on my D-7 because it was so ugly.

Thanks. I found reference to a laminated handle on the D-15 late '40s, early '50's, but not on the D-7.

I replaced the handle, but kept the old handle in case I ever want to sell the saw. Of course, I have no intention of selling the saw. I collect them. I don't sell them.
