    Angry Circles not circles...

Not having any luck lately. I was laser cutting some acrylic key chains out and noticed the circles for the ring were not circles. the hole is about .125in. I was running at 10mm/s. Any ideas on how to fix? I'm assuming its mechanical, as the vector artwork were correct.

The engraving came out great no misalignment, just on cutting its weird. Attached pictures.keyhole1.jpgkeyhole2.jpg

Two things. First, you can tweak the backlash settings. Second, change the artwork so that the cut starts at a different place, such as on a corner.

While you have already stated you checked alignment, check your belts. I noticed this happen to me once when the belts needed a mere smidge of tightening and then my circles were back to circles again.
I read recipes the same way I read science fiction. I get to the end and I think, "Well, that’s not going to happen."
