    Dewalt 734 Planer Rollers

My Dewalt 734 has run well for about 9 years but the rollers have started stalling. I cranked it up to inspect the rollers and noticed that the infeed roller is in bad shape. The rollers are about $40 a piece and it would seem I need to break the machine down to parade rest to get to them. The local Dewalt service center offers an entire overhaul not more than $250, depending on condition. I have taken good care of the planer and kept all the moving parts greased so I'm not sure what I'm getting for my money. I am curious if anyone has attempted a roller replacement or allowed Dewalt to overhaul the unit.

I had that planer and tore it down and it's not hard if you have some mechanical ability. My head lock mech stopped locking tight so I had it all apart to replace the parts that lock against the posts.
