Way to go, Alan! While we're at it, we might as well give kudos to Paul Comi, too!! His edging system made it to the top reader tips in FWW this month. It was a good month for the Creek, as far as the folks at Taunton are concerned!
Keith
Kudo's to both Alan and Paul. Thanks for the article and tip.

nice piece that alan made. It is hard to go wrong with a newport piece as far as design goes, but it is easy not to build it right. Alan has done a great job.

Wow, a fellow Creeker in FWW. Hope you have the phone lines open for the commissions that will follow!
Congrats on a fine piece and well deserved recognition.

Congratulations, Alan. I haven't seen the magazine piece, but I hope it did justice to your beautiful desk. Congrats also to Paul.

I can't wait to see the magazine!
You might want to check out this SMC thread where Alan first posted his pictures of the desk on the SMC Nander Forum. There are some closeups of the work and narrative about the construction techniques that will take your breath away.
Thanks, guys. A good ride.

Congrats, Alan! I can't wait to get my issue and see for myself. I certainly enjoyed the original thread.
It is easier to be imperfect and plan for it, than to try to be perfect and swear at it.
Got my issue today.....way to go guys!
