I've mentioned many times that my LS900 is still on the original 13 year old X belt, and that I need to change, it, AND that I actually have one here---somewhere---
I JUST FOUND IT! In a drawer in the desk the 5000 is sitting on! (that I hardly ever open)
The really weird part? --what it doesn't say...)

Ok Kev, I give, do you mean that it doesn't say "made in China"?
That might be why your belt has lasted so long.

exactly--I haven't seen 'Made In Japan' on something in LONG time!
I remember growing up, 'Made In Japan' came with the same stigma 'Made In China' does now. Funny how things change
