    .025 Laserblak aluminum: Will my 40Watt Universal vector cut this?

    I'm totally new to Laser Cutting and Engraving. Any help would be appreciated.

    I've never used this stuff but if its designed for laser cutting then I would say yes, but if it is aluminum then no it won't cut it

    You'll need a shear to cut aluminum. If cutting shapes, you'll need more than a shear

    We use a shear to cut the LaserBlak aluminum, I make the outline 1/16th larger the actual size and engrave the rectangle when I engraved the text, and then I cut it with a shears. I doubt I would even be able to use the laser to cut the material.
