can anyone tell me how to make a "glow" in corel draw

I will be engraving a person on black granite/marble and would like to put a glow behind the person to
add contrast from the dark granite. i am having trouble figuring out how to do that in Corel.

    Any help would be appreciated

Drop Shadow, Centered and then adjust the width and blend to set how fast the fade trails off...

Their support pages are pretty good and will get you over many humps in the future.
