Just sent in my $25.00 Hope this works to help shore up the foundation of the board.
Just keep working on it. It'll give up and do right after a while.

    Howdy folks!
When Wayne Miller left the compuserve home forum and formed Badger Pond he had a shadow, it was me. When Wayne got tired and opened the floodgate the "Creek" flowed forth and so did I. It took this old Texas country bumbkin a few weeks to figure out it was .org not .com Getting to read the above forums has always been my grasp on reality and civility in the rat race world of earning a living. I think a buck a day is a small price to pay for my sanity. Hopefully $365 will help out.

Hello everyone! This is my first post. I have been checking SMC almost every day since the Pond went down. So when I checked in (lurking) today and read
Ken's post I was shocked! This made me remember how sad I was when the
Pond shut down. So today I joined SMC and I donated $50 to help. This whole
website is run so well and so informative. I would really miss it!

    Thanks alot Ken,
    Jim

    Richard....

How about a new tally if possible at this point?

Aaron of course is the top donator, but there is no way to put a value on his huge donation.

Bob, I'm sure it is well past the amount Keith was looking for, but we should continue as far past any goal that may have been set. I am amazed with the people who seldom post raising to the occasion and helping out.
Some people have been conspicuios (sp) in their absense, and for some donating money may not be an option, but if you visit this site with any kind of regularity and don't donate $10.00, shame on you.
The information that is avaible here is enormious, it's a very good investment.

    Richard

    P.S. Thanks Andrew and Kevin

I don't know whether the totals reflect whether someone has "spoken up" upon donating or not. I also feel that your above statement is both contradictory and is itself shameful in its attempt to encourage people to donate.

After all, should one for whom donating "may not be an option" also feel the "shame" you state they should? Surely you didn't mean it in that manner, did you Richard?
