    A couple of NE bowls

Turned these the other day for my hair stylist. Hope she likes 'em. They're a bit heavy and thick, but I'm not trying to impress turners...
Catalpa and Osage Orange with wipe on poly. *Edit* Both about 9-10" diameter, and 5-6" tall.

They look good to me. I think NE bowls look better when left on the heavy side.
    What size are they?

They do look good Jim, bet there’s quite a difference in weight, with Catalpa being a light and the Osage being a heavy wood, that by itself wood be a conversation starter.
    Have fun and take care

Very, very nice bowls & nice color. Have you tried a gravy bowl yet. Just like those but much longer and thinner.
