    band saw people! help!

    http://denver.craigslist.org/tls/5870711961.html

    i just found this...

any idea what it is? 50 bucks?

it appears the covers are plywood and it has a very narrow blade.

I am not interested in junk, but I wonder whats under the plywood covers.

Likely a metalworking machine based on the surrounding stuff.

Not hardly any info on the saw available, but two things come to mind - originally an open-frame saw that now has side covers? or, there was way back in the day a "kit" type band saw available that was primarily built by the purchaser of the kit of plywood. The upper wheel cover looks kind of "plywoody", maybe?

Looks like a homebuild designed to look similar to a Delta 28-350.
Of all the laws Brandolini's may be the most universally true.

    Deep thought for the day:

Your bandsaw weighs more when you leave the spring compressed instead of relieving the tension.

Home made or kit possibly. Gilliom mfg. made bandsaw kits among other tools.
