Jet 1624 vs headstock spindle length

I'm going to do a demonstration using a Jet 1624 variable speed lathe and will be using a drawbar so I need to know the distance from the front of the spindle to the end of the handle. I am hoping someone that owns one would help me out with the measurement.

Front of spindle to end of handle is 15 1/4".
