    MDF core easier to cut?

    Hi guys,

I tried looking for a previous post about this, but I couldn't find the information I was looking for.

Is MDF core plywood easier to laser cut than veneer core? I am looking to get some 1/4" Oak or Maple MDF core plywood to make some boxes.

    Thank you for your help!

Yes, that has been my experience, though with just 45 watts I have no trouble cutting 1/4" solid oak.
