It has been a while since I made any furniture pieces. I started this project (3 side tables) a few months ago but haven't had much time to spend on them.
They are out of Cherry, the smaller ones slide under the bigger one but didn't make them all nested as the smallest one would be too small to be useful.
I had some nice stack of wide figured cherry. Here are a couple of 13-14" wide ones. I'm making two smaller tables out of one board (no glue line) and the bigger one by joining two:

Then started milling some 8/4 to make the legs from.

Here I'm about to join the aprons. First time using the XL700 using the adapter to use smaller cutters (for 500). Works great, although it takes a little time to used to the heavier weight of it. (sold my 500 to get this).

I decided to try something new in this project. Aside from simple inlays (that I've done before) decided to add a star to the middle of each table, from Maple and Walnut.
Here I'm cutting the pieces for the spokes:

Now glue them all into a block of scrap wood to resaw to get 3 identical stars:
