    searching for topics

    Hi,
I am a newbie to the forum and am trying to find some information or opinions on software. i.e Corel, illustrator etc. Is there an easy way to search the forum for previously posted threads on the same topic? I tried a couple of times in the search bar and nothing came up. Maybe I am doing something wrong?
    Any help is appreciated. Thanks

CorelDraw is the go-to software for laser engravers. Illustrator can be used on some equipment but most in this business use Corel.

I don't recall having seen a discussion on the merits of software. My memory is not infallible though.

There has been some (minimal) discussion on other graphics software, but most of the time it ends up being created then imported to Corel for the laser output. I have used Illustrator, SketchUp, Autocad, and my vinyl cutting Gerber program but export from them and use Corel to cut and/or engrave. Most of the time it's just all Corel.
