I've been missing in action, but BUSY!

Here are a few of the things I've done lately... Just not been posting anything.
    Florida (YES, Florida) Boxelder
Apple Burl about 16 inches in diameter - cored... From what was the largest apple tree in Massachusetts... That stuff REALLY cracks
Elm Burl from Columbia County NY and carried to FL
"Lovers" two maple trees/branches that grew for a number of years wrapped around each other. They are fused in just enough areas to hold them together, but turning this was EXCITING
Oak burl - the raw material looked like brain tissue - I have at least one more piece
Garage sale recovery. Paid $2.00 for a varnished piece from the path that was heavy enough to return thinner.

Nice to see you back posting, George.
Your work is outstanding on all, but the oak burl and Lovers pieces really had me going back for second looks! The shape, curves, finish and wood selection is just beautiful!
Thanks for taking the time do share.
    Be Blessed

Thank you for your comments and complements.
I'll be posting more soon, but I need to keep making shavings to do it.
