    Weekend Turning

I did this last weekend. I am not sure if it is a bowl a hollow form or what. It is made from spalted tanner oak, I think thats right. It was very hard and very dry. I seem to be going to the grinder every few minutes. I don't think the pictures really do the wood justice. Its good looking piece of wood.

    Thumbs up Very nice!

    John,

You can call it anything you want, but I call it a beautiful piece of lathe work. The wood is certainly different with the white spalting. I have not heard of tanner oak, but I like it.

Very nice form John. You can call it whatever you want, although I would call it a hollow form , or enclosed vessel.

    Keep up the good work.
