    My New Carving Knife

    Blade from 1095 Steel, Handle is Spalted Maple. Looks bad but fits my hand and cuts good.

    I think it is a great looking knife!

    BTW, for those who may want to make a handle and don't have suitable wood, ask a woodturner! Every woodturner I know (especially me!) has a huge number of small pieces of wood too beautiful to throw away and will gladly give you some. Many of these are too small to use for most projects but are perfect for handles.
