That's quite a birdhouse! What types of birds is it built for?

Very nice. Are the walls made from individual logs or are they larger panels with exaggerated finger joints. How do you clean out the old nests??

The walls are all made from sheets of hard board . They are all notched together and easily removed to clean the house out . All the insides are removable from the bottom of the house .

    Pretty awesome.

Are you selling these or are they just for your enjoyment?

Thank you Daniel ! It started out as a hobby but after building over 800 of them I was forced to sell a bunch of them .

Oh my, you are certifiably insane. My kind of guy! Thanks for showing these.

I hope I don't get inspired since I tend to insanely overdo things:

I make blue bird houses around the farm but they are pretty simple. I understand blue birds don't take well to condos.

Did you ever build bat houses? Someone who wanted to make money with woodworking might tap into the what I suspect could be a huge market for mosquito control with the rapidly developing zika virus scare.

Thanks John ! That is great looking house ! I really like the stone chimney . I have done several bat houses in the past but only for my yard . I have enough work as it is .
If you google Extreme Birdhouses you should be able to find all kinds of different designs that I have done in the last 10 years.

I just helped a friend build 4 large bat houses. They were much plainer looking than these masterpieces.
