    Yep, I heard this driving home last night. One of the stations was cranking out "The Airplane" all night long.

    Indeed, Kantner was influential. I'm sorry to say I believe we will see more and more of our rock idols passing. There are so many in the industry and the ones who flamed out early are now being followed by the ones who pass "early" for age-related reasons.
