Just spoke with Dan Deulen, who makes the nice blade sharpening jugs. He told me about his latest invention. Should retail for about $400. Looks very slick.

Wow that system is definitely different. But it looks like a lot of setup for something I can do with my GRR-Rippers quicker. Though keeping your hands completely out of the picture is an interesting prospect.

Interesting. Thanks for posting.
Interesting product.
It reminds me of the Martin jointer fence that has a little finger to push the woo along..........Rod.
The Deulen website says that they're currently out of stock.
I have to say that I think this is awesome. Anything that takes your hands away from the blade is good. I can also see upgrades that automate the board moving forward, without manually cranking. I watched the other video and the board going through the router was nice.
I would think a GRR-Ripper would be better in almost every way & far less expensive.
I wish I could get my hands on the drawings for that. I'd like to adapt it to my Biesemeyer.

Bruce, He says it will work with any fence. Two screws and that's it.

The idea is good but why is he ripping the boards with an 80 tooth blade?
Rustic? Well, no. That was not my intention!
