    Wow! I am shocked beyond belief! I grew up listening to The Eagles. My folks, believe it or not, had several recordings on reel to reel that we'd listen to! Very sad. How much more can the rock world handle here...sigh. Heaven has indeed got a helluva band!

    I'm so thankful I had the opportunity to see him in concert with the Eagles this past June.

    My biggest regret was never getting to see them in concert. Very sad to lose such a great musician.

    Mott the Hoople lost their drummer as well in his late 60's. Weird week.

    for those who don't know, Mott the Hoople was a great band in the late sixties and early seventies. Their influence is found all over music of that era, and later.
